he is hired by a mysterious businessman, Mr. Braden.
He must find a portrait depicting Mr. Braden’s wife.
The painting was stolen the day she was killed.

But strange events lead Ray Baxter into a darker
investigation then he expected.
He loses control of reality and begins to lose himself."
